Hello! You’ve landed at seeloriwork.com, the professional home of Lori Wilson. I am the Strategic Communications and Marketing Director for the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Division of Facility Planning & Management. That mouthful means that I tell the stories of the people, projects and places of FP&M. Our division is responsible for all 936 acres of the built and natural environment of UW–Madison. I get to work with an incredible group of diverse facilities professionals strategize and execute communications and marketing campaigns to employees, campus customers and leaders, state partners, and more.
Before that, I was the Marketing Automation Administrator for UW–Madison’s Division of Continuing Studies. I promoted Oracle Eloqua to increase adoption on campus by 400% in 16 months. I on-boarded, trained, and provided technical support for more than 90 user groups, serving as the Eloqua subject matter expert for all of campus.
Previously, I spent five years as the Marketing & Communications Director for the UW E-Business Consortium, where I led plans to engage, add and retain member companies, such as Kohler Co., Rockwell Automation and American Family Insurance.
Before I joined the University of Wisconsin-Madison, I worked as a marketing coordinator at an architectural and engineering firm in Madison, Wisconsin, translating engineer-speak into English. I also have experience as a sales representative, yearbook nerd (yerd), event-planner and direct mail guru. My professional interests include graphic design, editing, writing and social media. I’ll explore all of these, as well as life as a marketer of B-2-B services here. Welcome aboard!
